The principle of adjusting the tension of the laminating machine


Due to the magnetic powder tension control or mechanical tension control of the laminating machine, the tension is not controlled by a constant tension, so the tension of the rewinding and unwinding needs to be adjusted appropriately with the size of the material roll diameter.


①The larger the coil diameter, the greater the tension. When the coil diameter decreases, the tension should be appropriately reduced;


②The size of the tension is determined according to the material of the product: the tension of the stretchable and easy-to-break material should not be too large, and it must be determined according to the actual situation of the product;


③The tension of the rewinding shaft should be greater than the tension of the unwinding shaft, but the tension of the rewinding shaft is affected by the waste and the size of the roll diameter. It should be adjusted appropriately. The larger the roll diameter, the greater the tension;


④The lamination tension should not be adjusted excessively, and the principle is to drive the material to feed normally and to facilitate the discharge of waste.

Factors affecting the normal feeding of materials


During the operation of the laminating machine, we often encounter phenomena such as material deviation, difficult to accurately compound, and lamination misalignment. So, what are the main reasons for the above problems in materials?


①In the fitting seat, the unevenness of the composite pressing roller causes the inaccuracy of the composite. The reason is that the unevenness of the composite pressing roller causes the uneven force of the material, which makes the entire plate of material unable to move forward in parallel;


②The suction plate is not opened when the material is fed, which causes the material to not receive a uniform traction force when feeding, causing the material to be unable to be fed in parallel;


③When compounding, the bottom discharge tape and the composite tape are not at the same parallel scale position, causing misalignment;


④ During the compounding, the tension of the material belt is not opened during unwinding, which causes the material to not be tensioned and the feeding is uneven;


⑤It is caused by not clearly fixing the rewinding and unwinding shaft, the material guide rod, and the limiting device on the feeding plate, resulting in the material not being clearly limited.

Common waste discharge techniques in laminating machines


In the use of laminating machine, waste discharge is one of the important functions, what are the application skills?


1. The use of fixtures


In the process of waste discharge, because of the particularity of the material, some artificial auxiliary devices are often used to discharge waste, which is what we often call fixtures. Our commonly used treatments include:


a. Scraper type tooling: mainly used when discharging waste at an angle that is difficult to complete. The scraper fine-tunes the angle of the waste material so that the material can peel off the waste product through an angle that is convenient for separation;


b. Thimble-type tools: mainly use the fixed position, the thimble-type shrapnel formed by the sharp-angled acrylic plate, and use the fixed position of the top brush to remove the fine-hole waste when passing the material;


c. Blow-type tools: mainly by fixing the position of the air pressure pipe, using the blowing method to complete the removal of all-off waste.


2. Use of waste disposal angle


The general standard laminating machine is equipped with a large number of movable or fixed guide rods for guiding materials. The main function of the guide rod is to change the angle of the waste discharge belt through different positions of the guide rods between the scraper and the guide rod when discharging waste. The tension is achieved through the adjustment of the waste discharge angle to complete the smooth waste discharge.


3. Auxiliary waste discharge of material belt


a. For the waste discharge belt that is easy to be broken, a narrow side auxiliary material belt is added to increase the toughness of the waste belt to facilitate smooth waste discharge;


b. The release paper is completely broken and discharged. For this type of product, the opp sealing tape is generally used for composite discharge;


c. Discharge the middle hole position: For products with small holes in the middle of the die-cut product, generally remove the middle hole position release paper first, use masking tape to row the hole position release paper, and then use the acrylic protective film to row the hole positions Glue.
